Japanese newcomer Takayuki Higo lives up to his nom de plume by delivering two exquisite deep house instrumentals. “Flow” is a heady amalgam of bright keyboard sounds, crisp percussion, haunting pads and a very thick bassline. Think Francois K’s “FK” EP meets early Marshall Jefferson and you’re almost there. On the flip “Juice” takes a more minimal but tribal approach with subtle bass and driving synths. Chris Orr
